2017 saw the incorporation of WMF within Groupe SEB, which materialized in robust progress on the harmonization of systems and the integration of functions through a constructive collaboration between teams. Several priorities were addressed in this first year:
- the development of the Small Domestic Equipment business through the takeover of the commercial activity by the Group’s subsidiaries -excluding Germany, Austria and Switzerland-, the acceleration of the product dynamic and the inception of the optimization of the WMF store network;
- the acceleration in Professional Coffee through a strengthened, specialized organization structure, enhanced innovation and digitalization, and the initial implementation of action plans in the main markets;
- the gradual roll-out of industrial and purchasing synergies, and the start of the supply chain optimization.
In a nutshell, in 2017, Groupe SEB has gone forth to ensure the achievement of its ambitions for WMF.
